BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Barcelona took a big step towards the Champions League semifinals on Tuesday with a 3-2 win at Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their quarterfinal. Ousmane Dembele scored the winning goal in the 85th minute, to give Barcelona a 6-5 aggregate lead heading into the second leg at Camp Nou next week.
Raphinha gave Barcelona the lead in the 27th minute, but Kylian Mbappe equalized for PSG just before halftime. Gerard Pique restored Barcelona's lead in the 54th minute, but Mbappe equalized again in the 61st minute.
Dembele's goal came after a great pass from Lionel Messi. The French winger took a touch to control the ball and then fired a low shot into the bottom corner.
It was a huge win for Barcelona, who are looking to win their first Champions League title since 2015. PSG, who have never won the Champions League, will need to score at least twice at Camp Nou next week to advance.
